Two man reasons why I use Flexible Dieting
When i first started my journey into weight loss I was confused on nutrition. I thought i knew what "clean eating" or eating "healthy" meant. However when I ordered one of the team beach body programs and sat there looking at the nutrition plan - I was completely LOST
I thought calories was all i needed to count? Well in theory yes however what are calories and the breakdown of them? How do I know if i need to stay away from ....GASPS ...... CARBS! Or do I stay away from fats? Heck if I not I've heard stories on both so I was confused and overwhelmed. I didn't even want to start the program because I already felt defeated. Being told just stick to plan "a" or plan "b" i the nutrition plan was just not enough for ME. Now some of you may be content with this but for those that want to dive into the details of calories then here you go.
I did good in calorie counting but only counted based off what someone else told me I should be intaking. Oh just do 1500 calories or less a day. I thought to myself how do they know what my body needs? Why is it so generalized/standard? I'm a planner and extremely organized/detailed with everything. I need a plan - if you fail to plan you plan to fail. I knew weight loss and fitness goals was 99% nutrition. How can i start something if i have no clue what i truly need to accomplish my goal? I research everything - which is a great habit to have. You must know though how to weed out the "garbage". Finally I came across THIS GUY! ENJOY.
Watch them all. If you have questions and are interested in furthering your nutrition off this concept known as "flexible dieting" please let me know and I can help guide you in the direction you need to take. I have tools to accommodate these nutrition concepts that make counting and figuring up your personal custom intakes EASY!
